biscarrosse is a popular seaside resort on the atlantic coast south of arcachon in south-west france. the coastal resort is officially called biscarrosse plage. the town is just a few kilometers from the great long sandy beaches of the atlantic and is a pleasant place with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants to keep you entertained when you want to escape from the beach. there is a fifteenth century castle and a church that are of historical interest; also, here is a large nature lake and the forests of the landes to explore - ideally on foot or bicycle, or perhaps on horseback. the lake is also ideal if the surfing waves on the beach become too much for small children - the lake also has extensive beaches. under the sea is where the wizarding life dwells. if one knows how to get under the water, under an old lifeguard tower, they will be allowed entrance through the gateway leading to a large restaurant and wizarding community, complete with gambling, shops, and a hotel.
