HALF BREED RULES
in order to have your half-breed application accepted, you will need to follow these rules as they are written.
WEREWOLVES
- a werewolf's sense of smell and vision is far greater than that of a human, especially at night.
- they have excellent reflexes and stamina. simply put, a human wouldn't have a chance against a werewolf.
- a werewolf's biggest enemy is a vampire. they don't get a long, ever.
- when a werewolf finds a mate, it is for life. though they're much more relaxed about the act of mating, they form a bond with the other. it is rare, but it's possible for a werewolf to mate in the human form, and from there, they would form a bond and fall in love with a human. unlike humans, if their mate were to die, there would be no chance of finding a new one. they lament the loss of their mate, and within three weeks to a month, they usually die off as well.
- werewolves can change at will, though this is most common when they're feeling particularly angry, threatened, or sexually aroused.
- any sort of silver will not cause a pleasant reaction in a werewolf. in many ways, they are 'allergic', a bullet would kill them, however if the element were to get in their blood stream, that would as well.
- they don't follow or respect christianity, but the sight of a cross won't kill them. it's quite annoying, though.
- even in their human forms, werewolves have dark, black, brunette, or auburn hair and large brown eyes.
- humans become werewolves when bitten by another werewolf.
- though they can transform at will, when it is the full moon, werewolves turn savage and seek out humans to kill.
- the wolfsbane potion will ease the transformation at the full moon, and though the wolf will then be harmless, it doesn't completely prevent the transformation.
- there is no cure for werewolves.
VAMPIRES
- when they're thirsty, the eyes of a vampire will become almost black, or crimson depending on what they feed on.
- when a vampire steps in the sun, their skin tends to burn. the only way they would be able to step in the sun was if they took a special potion, which would only last a few hours at the most.
- because they're technically dead, the skin of a vampire is extremely cold, almost as cold as ice.
- their diet depends on their morals. some vampires are very much against feeding on humans, and therefore choose the vegetarian life where they feed only on the blood of animals. others choose to give into their natural cravings and feed on humans, usually muggles.
- vampires sleep in coffins.
- their reflexes are far above average, along with their speed. they can run at lightening fast speeds, and similar to a werewolf, a human wouldn't have a chance against them.
- their biggest enemy is the werewolf. under no circumstances would they tolerate one.
- they don't need to breathe, though sometimes choose to.
- their skin is a very unnaturally pale shade of white, though along with the rest of their bodies, it is very attractive. their beauty tends to draw other people in.
- a vampire does not age. it remains the age it was when it was transformed.
- vampires cannot die, or reproduce. the only way to kill a vampire is to rip and burn the pieces.
VEELA
- a veela has a strong hold over the opposite sex based solely on their remarkable beauty.
- usually, people will become entranced just by looking at a veela. certain things they do will trigger stronger cases, and will possess people to do things they normally might not. for instance, dancing might be a trigger action.
- when they're angry, a veela changes shape and develops a sharp, ugly beak on a birdlike face, along with wings.
